We are seeking passionate, reliable, experienced & dedicated personnel in the following roles to join our team on a casual/part time basis - with flexibility to work across a range of morning, afternoon & night shifts:
- Registered / Enrolled Nurses (RN/EN).
- Assistant in Nursing (AIN/PCA); and
- Hospitality Staffs (Kitchen Hand/FSA & Cleaners)
The following selection criteria will be carefully considered by us during the shortlisting process:
- MANDATORY REQUIREMENT (ALL STAFFS)
- Up-to-date immunizations:
- + Current Annual Flu Vaccination
- + COVID-19 Vaccination: 3 doses, including Booster.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
- Must have valid/full work rights in Australia (we will require passport/visa copy for verification if applicable)
RN/EN Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in Health/Aged Care environment highly regarded.
- Current (Unrestricted) Australian Nurses Registration (AHPRA)
- Current Basic Life Support Qualification.
- Understanding of Medication Management principles and implementation is a must
- Ability to identify & manage risks efficiently and effectively
- Strong leadership and time management skills, with clear & articulate verbal and written communication. Ability to work well in teams is strongly considered.
- Commitment to holistic nursing practices, with genuine intentions in providing utmost support & care to residents in need.
2. AIN/PCA Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in Health/Aged Care environment highly regarded
- Cert III in Aged Care / Cert III in Individual Support / Cert IV Disability Support or equivalent - Nursing Student pursuing these qualifications also considered.
- Current First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling Certificate
- Must have flexible availability for AM, PM and Night Shift.
- Current Medical Competency (Med Comp) certificate (if available)
- Suitable knowledge & experience
- Demonstrated digital, verbal and written clinical communication with effective interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
3. Hospitality Staffs Essential Requirements
- Good & effective communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team as required.
- Brilliant work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to understand the importance of dietary and nutrition and requirements/practices in the Health Care industry
- Relevant qualifications/certificates for 'applied for' position (optional) - Hand Hygiene, Food Safety, Infection Control (training will be provided for successful candidates that do not possess these certificates)
