Brief Information: Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh, (AMRU) came into existence after the enactment of an Act by the State Legislature, ‘The Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Act, 2017’ which was further amended in 2019 to rename the University in the name and style of Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh. The Government of Himachal Pradesh further notified to make the Headquarter of the University at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Govt. Medical College, Mandi, at Ner Chowk.
After the establishment of the University all the streams of medicines such as Modern System of Medicine, Dental Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy, various Para-medical disciplines such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy etc. will be affiliated with the University for the purpose of registration of students, regulations and conduct of examinations of all the academic courses and to award degrees and diplomas to the students in the State of Himachal Pradesh.

SELECTION CRITERIA:- 1. Selection for the posts on contract appointment will be made on the basis of written test. The Standard/syllabus of the written test will be determined by the University. The Written Test shall comprise of 100 MCQ questions for 100 marks. The duration of the written test shall be 90 minutes. There will be 0.25 marks negative marking for each incorrect attempt. Summoning of the candidate(s) for evaluation/selection; conveys no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected or recommended. Terms and Conditions:- (1) The appointment against these posts will be purely on NHM contract basis (only on fixed remuneration) initially for a period of one year, which can be extended further subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Department as well as approval of the Government of India for the same. (2) The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the written examination and no viva-voice test will be conducted. (3) The name of candidates will be recommended as per roster mentioned above. (5) The contract of appointment can be terminated from either side with one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof. (6) Unsatisfactory services, misconduct or remaining on unauthorized absence from duty will result in removal/termination from service forthwith. (7) No residential accommodation will be provided from the State Government Department pool. (8) Twelve days Casual Leave, five days special leave and ten days medical leave will be admissible in a calendar year. 12 (9) She/he will not be entitled for any other kind of leave except maternity benefit as admissible under Maternity Benefit Act. (10) It will be a full time job. No part time shall employment/private practice will be allowed. (11) A contractual agreement shall have to be executed with the NHM on Non-judicial Papers of Rs.10/- duly attested by the Executive Magistrate/Public Notary before joining the post. (12) The candidate will not claim his/her rights for seniority, regularization and confirmation of his/her services. (13) All original relevant documents will be verified at the time of evaluation of documents. (14) Any document(s) made available in the application form, if subsequently found to be false/forged, the services will be terminated at once without serving any notice. (15) This candidate is required to serve in any part of the State. (16) This will be a non-transferable job. (17) The candidate should be in the age group of 18-45 years as on 01.01.2022.
